RETURN POLICY

Returns are a breeze at WeatherToughFlags!

We do our best to provide you with the best flags on the market and to meet your expectations of a flag. However, we do understand if, for some reason, you are unsatisfied with the flag you received and want to return it. We accept returns of unused stock products up to 30 days from the ship date for a refund or replacement. The product must be in its original condition (this means it cannot be flown on a flagpole prior to returning) and it must also be in its original packaging. Please note that custom-made flags are not eligible for returns.

ANY AND ALL SHORTAGES MUST BE REPORTED TO cs@weathertoughflags.com within 2 days of receipt of merchandise.

How do I start my return process?
  • Contact our Customer Service team at (855) 883-3524 or via cs@weathertoughflags.com with your order number reason for return and ship to address to request a return authorization.
  • Our Customer Service team will issue an RMA number that you’ll need to label your return box with. The RMA number allows us to receive the returned product against the correct order to ensure you receive a refund, replacement product or credit.
  • Once an RMA has been issued, customers are responsible for shipping the product back to us within 15 days to: 951 Swanson Drive Batavia, IL 60510. The box must be labeled with your RMA number.
  • We do not accept returned items unless it is labeled with the assigned RMA number.
What if my flag wears out before I expect it to?

Our Nylon I and PolyExtra U.S. flags up to 6’ x 10’ are backed by our best in class Six-Month Guarantee. This covers any manufacturing defects, fading or tearing, starting from your date of purchase.

Our large U.S. flags sizes 8’ x 12’ up to 20’ x 38’ both Nylon I and PolyExtra are built to last and withstand the pressure they endure on taller flagpoles. These flags are backed by our three-month guarantee that covers manufacturing defects, fading or tearing from the date of your purchase.

Our extra-large U.S. flags sizes 30’ x 50’ up to 40’ x 80’ both Nylon I and PolyExtra are manufactured with best reinforcements in the industry. However, the weight of these flags combined with the wind pressure at 80’+ feet creates extreme wear and tear on these flags and are therefore guaranteed to last a minimum of 60 days from the date of your purchase. This guarantee covers manufacturing defects, fading and tearing. Flags this size can have the fly-end repaired to extend the life of the flag. (Please contact our Customer Service department if you wish to discuss the costs of repairing your extra-large flag).

Our nylon printed state, military, boutique/fun and corporate logo flags (up to 8’ x 12’) are backed by our three- month warranty against fading and tearing.

  • You may start a warranty claim by contacting our Customer Service Team at (855) 883-3524 or via cs@weathertoughflags.com. For your flag to be covered under warranty please provide photos of the damage and your order number. Our team may request the flag to be returned for inspection. If this is the case, we will provide you with a return shipping label.
  • Our team will inspect the flag and if it is determined the flag failed due to a manufacturing defect, we will replace your flag in 5 to 7 days from receipt of the returned flag.
  • Flags left on a flagpole or outdoors during excessive weather conditions such as tornados, hurricanes or tropical storms are not covered under warranty. Damage to a flag during excessive weather events is not considered normal wear and tear and is therefore not covered under our warranty. Our team will validate the weather in in your area via undergroundweather.com.
  • Flags must be FULLY DRY before they are boxed and returned.
What if I have a custom or made-to-order product I would like to return?
  • Before we print your custom flag, we provide an artwork layout within the flag size template for you to approve. This gives you a visual representation of what your flag will look like and how it will be finished (such as heading and grommets versus a pole hem sleeve). During this proofing process if you notice something is incorrect or you just want to make a change, please provide those details so we may provide you with an updated proof. Production on your custom flag will not begin until you approve the final layout.
  • We ask that you provide the Pantone colors required for your flag or we cannot warranty the color will be exactly as you expect.
  • Artwork for custom flags must be provided in vector format so the art can be scaled up to the size of your flag without degradation of the image. Raster files do not qualify for custom flags and therefore we cannot guarantee the flag will print as you are expecting it to look.
  • Custom made flags are not eligible for returns. However, should there be a substantial difference between the proof you approved and the flag you received, or you notice a manufacturing defect in the flag you received, we will work to repair or reproduce the flag.
Will my shipping be covered for my return?
  • Shipping costs of flags being returned for reasons other than a manufacturing defect are the responsibility of the consumer.
  • Return shipping costs will be handled by us if the issue is due to a manufacturing defect.
  • Outbound shipping fees from the original order are not refundable.
How long will the return process take?
  • Returns are typically processed within 3-5 business days of receiving the returned goods. Refunds can be expected within 5 to 7 days after receipt of goods. (Please note, WeatherToughFlags is not responsible for the freight carrier shipping time.) We recommend that you retain your shipper’s tracking number and obtain proof of delivery to ensure we have received your return. When returning a flag it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure it is delivered to WeatherToughFlags for processing.
  • Please contact us if you have not received your refund within the stated period.
  • We apply refunds in the same tender the items were purchased. If a credit card was used to purchase the flags, a credit will be issued to the same credit card or we can issue a credit to your account for future purchases.

WeatherToughFlags is not responsible for shipping delays once your items have left our warehouse.

WeatherToughFlags is not responsible for typographical errors on our website, and we reserve the right to change the terms and conditions of sale at any time.

All sales at WeatherToughFlags.com are governed by Illinois, without giving effect to its conflict of law provisions.

BY PLACING AN ORDER ON WeatherToughFlags.com, YOU AGREE TO ALL OF THESE TERMS, CONDITIONS AND POLICIES.

This warranty explicitly excludes coverage for adverse weather conditions, including but not limited to storms, snow, rain, hurricanes, tornadoes, thunderstorms, micro-bursts, earthquakes, ice storms, tsunamis, or any other natural disasters. Furthermore, theft is not covered under this warranty. Additionally, any damage sustained by the flag due to contact with buildings, trees, branches, garages, or any stationary objects is not covered. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure proper care of their flag, including appropriate hanging and timely removal during inclement weather conditions.
